May 20-22, 2021
Nehemiah Project is a way to get connected through action ministry. Do you love a good mission story? Be a part of one at Nehemiah Project 2021!
Nehemiah Project is a weekend of work, worship, fellowship around meals, and relationship-building projects.
You and your church are welcome to participate. There is no cost. Simply RSVP so we can buy enough food.
The blessing that God pours out “when the people have a mind to work” is always amazing!
Please note: we will be following state health & safety guidelines for Covid-19.
Contact the OCC office and let us know you are coming: email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 503-743-2101 (if you are spending the night be sure and secure your housing when you contact the office)
Some of the projects we will be working on:
- Clean-up from the ice-storm. Branches down, trees to cut-up, firewood to stack
- Painting inside and out
- Deep cleaning of the kitchen
- Building screens for cabin windows
- weeding, planting, mulching
- clean-up and safety check of play equipment
- repair all soft chairs in tabernacle as needed
***Here’s a project for YOU if you have been attending convention for years and years. You will sit and look at old slides in order to identify the people in them. Your knowledge of the past will help us identify and label these great old pictures. This will be a bit of a detective job: no lifting, no stooping, no straining muscles—just sit and look at pictures and shout-out names of who is in them.
